BBX Yachts – A Stylish Slice of Second Life Luxury

BBX sometimes gets a bit of criticism from hardcore sailing purists in Second Life, but personally, I approach their creations with a different perspective. When I look at BBX boats and yachts, I’m not expecting a hyper-realistic sailing simulation — I’m looking for beautifully designed, luxurious vessels that are perfect for relaxing, socializing, and entertaining.

I recently picked up the stunning PJ-A3 yacht from BBX, and I absolutely love it. Every time I set sail, I feel like one of SL’s elite. I cruise to one of my favorite scenic spots, invite friends over, and enjoy the sun, drinks, and music on the spacious deck. The interior is equally impressive, featuring a stylish lounge, a kitchen, a full-sized bedroom with a functional bed, and a complete bathroom. It's not just a yacht — it’s a floating photo-ready paradise that can easily double as a permanent home.

Another thing I really appreciate about BBX is the founder’s generosity. Beyond offering regular discounts, they sometimes include surprise extras — whether it's another boat or additional amenities, it's always a welcome bonus.

So while BBX may not offer the most technically realistic sailing experience and may come with a higher prim count, they excel in what they’re clearly designed for: luxury, leisure, and living the high life at sea.

⚓️🏴‍☠️ Ahoy, ye scurvy sea dogs! 🏴‍☠️⚓️

⚓️🏴‍☠️ Ahoy, ye scurvy sea dogs! 🏴‍☠️⚓️

The rowdy crew o’ The Pervy Pirate be takin’ full advantage o' this fine day upon the vast waters o’ the Blake Sea, deep in the wilds o’ Second Life! 🌊

We’ve dropped anchor just off the shores o’ the Sirens Islands, where the sea be calm, the sun be smilin’, and the grog be flowin' like a storm surge in a thunderin’ squall! 🍺πŸ’₯

With barrels o’ ale cracked open and tankards clankin’, we be singin’ shanties, shakin’ our peg legs, and raisin’ a toast to the freedom o’ the open seas! No laws, no landlubbers—just rum, revelry, and the sweet scent o’ salt in the air.

Aye, it be a grand day to be a pirate, me hearties. If ye be hearin’ the call o’ the sea, follow the stars—or the smell o' spilled ale—and come join the mischief.

Long live the life o’ plunder, pleasure, and piracy! 🏴‍☠️🍻 Arrr!

P-51 Mustang from ZSK

Most of the time, you’ll find me exploring by sea aboard one of my many ships—but lately, I’ve had the urge to take to the skies. I’ve had my eye on a WWII-era P-51 Mustang for a while now, and I finally decided to go for it—and I’m glad I did.

This aircraft is a hyper-realistic replica of the iconic WWII fighter, with incredible attention to detail that truly honors the original design. What really impressed me is the use of emotes to control key features like the canopy, landing gear, and flaps. It’s intuitive and keeps the screen free from a bulky HUD, which surprisingly adds to the immersion. While I usually prefer flying with a HUD, in this case, flying without one just feels right.

I often find myself in mouse-look mode, soaring across the Blake Sea, practicing takeoffs and landings. The plane handles beautifully—it’s incredibly agile and fully combat-ready with functional guns and bombs, making it perfect for both casual flying and dogfights.

If you’re in Second Life and looking for a top-tier P-51 Mustang replica, I highly recommend checking out the ZSK Main Store at: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Annyong/116/110/54

1920's Fashion

A Delightful Encounter and a Fabulous Vintage Find

Today, while out fishing on my little boat in Blake Sea, I had the pleasure of meeting a charming Italian woman named Colette Hynes. She was full of life and radiated such a captivating energy. As we got to chatting, we discovered we were both content creators — and before long, we were deep in conversation about fashion.

To my surprise and delight, Colette Hynes gifted me a gorgeous vintage-style dress inspired by the 1920s to 1950s. I couldn't wait to get home, unpack it, and try it on — and it did not disappoint! It fits my Maitreya LaraX body like a dream and is absolutely adorable.

If you're into vintage fashion, I highly recommend checking out Colette Hynes's store. The pieces are stylish, reasonably priced, and full of retro charm. What more could you ask for?

SP-18 Typhoon Seaplane – Quick Review

SP-18 Typhoon Seaplane – Quick Review

I’ve decided to start a new habit—once a week (or every other week), I’ll pick something I own in Second Life and share a quick review. For my first entry, I’m taking a look at the SP-18 Typhoon seaplane.

I originally bought this plane after a disappointing purchase of another aircraft (which shall remain unnamed). Frustrated but still in search of a reliable seaplane, I came across the SP-18 Typhoon—and it turned out to be exactly what I was looking for.

This plane is a solid, high-quality build. It’s easy to fly, beginner-friendly, and handles region crossings surprisingly well—aside from the usual SL server hiccups we all know too well. Whether you're planning a long scenic flight or just hopping between islands, the Typhoon handles it all with ease.

One of the things I really appreciate is the inclusion of relaxing poses for when you want to kick back after flying. Customizing it is also simple—I gave mine a Pride-themed paint job and regularly get compliments when I take it out.

If you're looking for a dependable, stylish seaplane at a reasonable price, I highly recommend checking out the SP-18 Typhoon on the Second Life Marketplace.
